Emilien MARION began his musical carreer with the piano. He entered the Conservatory of Lyon and was one of Hervé Billaut 's students. He obtained his prize with the highest honors. Meanwhile he developed his skills with the celebrated Uruguayan pianist Carlos Cebro . In 2005, he won the 1st prize at the piano competition of Teresa Llacuna , achieving Excellence. In 2006, he joined the Paris  Conservatory under the guidance of Fernando Rossano and obtained his prize with the highest honors. He has played under the direction of conductors such as Arie Van Beek with  the Orchestra of Auvergne and Natalie Marin with the Ensemble Orchestral de l'Isère. He has also performed in  venues such as the teatro la Fenice in Venice, the Duomo of Orvieto, the Moliere Room and Célestins theater in Lyon, the Parc Floral de Vincennes and Vienne's Theater . In la Scala, Milan in 2010, Emilien received personal compliments from Placido Domingo for his piano accompaniment during the Operalia Competition.

 

He has been singing and has been passionate about theater ever since he was a child, leading to his natural passion for opera  . He is the finalist of the International Opera Competition of Marseille in March 2014 and of Beziers in April 2014.

Emilien received advices from  Ludovic Tezier ,  Dame Felicity Lott  and  Leontina Vaduva

during master class.

 

In June 2016, Emilien will sing the role of Alfredo in Traviata by Verdi.

In january, he sang the role of Roger in Yes! by Maurice Yvain staged by Christophe Mirambeau in Paris.

 

Emilien was Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni at The Summer Street Festival in London, july 2015, under the direction of Alexander Korovitch.

 

Emilien is  tea  Tenor  solo of the  Requiem of  Mozart with  tea  Bastille 's Orchestra  in  Cathedral Charters,  June 2015.

He is  Ganymede  in  Galathea of  Victor Massé with the egyptian  soprano  Amira  Selim and  L'Oiseleur des Longchamps  in  febrary  2015.

Spring 2015, recital with  tea  soprano  Sandrine Buendia in  Aix les bains theater, arias and   duets  .

In 2006, he played Lucas in Saint-Etienne in the comic opera by  Gounod " The doctor despite himself ", and he sang at the auditorium of the Lyon Opera.

In 2008, he played Clem and Alfred in " Le petit Ramoneur " by Benjamin Britten staged by Natasha Cashman , under the

musical  direction of Sofi Jeannin musical director of Maitrise de Radio France. At the end of that year, Emilien sang with the Maitrise de Radio France in Paris, Boulogne-Billancourt, Lille and Versailles. The Versailles  concert was broadcast on France Musique.

In 2010, he sang the role of Pluton ( Orphée aux Enfers ) in the Renaudie's Theater directed by Daniel Delarue. In the following month, he was the soloist in the Mozart's Mess in Ut in Rouen.

In 2011, he was the Chevalier de la Force ( Dialogue des Carmelites ) and also Tamino in Paris.

At the end of 2011, he played Pâris ( La belle Hélène ) at the theater of  Neuilly under the direction of Romain Dumas and staged by Frederic D'Elia.

In 2012, he was Tybalt ( Roméo et Juliette ) under the direction of Dominique Trottein . And he was the tenor in the show " Renaissance " written by Fréderic Lenoir

  and composed by Michele Tadini created in the Trianon theater in Paris.

In 2014, he sang Le petit Faust from Hervé with the company Les Frivolités Parisiennes at the Déjazet Theater in Paris under the direction of Julien Leroy and staged by Rémi Préchac.

Since 2008, Emilien has the great honor of receiving advice from Madam Janine Reiss who was Maria Callas ' s pianist and vocal coach as well as other major names in the music profession and Janine Fourrier .

Emilien has been working as a tenor, pianist and actor for the past five years with the stage director Georges Lavaudant and acted in La nuit de l'Iguane (Tennessee William) in the MC 93 Bobigny, Fado Alexandrino (Lobo Antunes), La Stratégie from Alice and Returning the Fireflies (Serge Valetti) for les Nuits de Fourvière in Lyon, La Mort de Danton (Georg Büchner) in the MC 93 Bobigny.
